Kick off your Independence Day weekend in Liberty Hill with apple pie, homemade ice cream, hot dog eating and watermelon seed-spitting contests as well as live music by The Spazmatics, children’s activities, raffles and a spectacular fireworks display.

 

Starnes Island Fireworks Show

Fireworks start around 8:30 p.m.

Starnes Island once again will host the biggest firework show on the lake. This year’s sponsor is Volente Beach Resort.Watch from VIP seats at the resort or boat and hilltops surrounding the lake in the Volente area.

 

Leander Liberty Fest

Boasting one of the largest firework displays in Central Texas, Leander's largest annual event includes live music by Jason Boland & The Stragglers and Mike Ryan, food and children's activities.

 

4th of July Family Celebration in San Gabriel Park

Spend the 4th at beautiful San Gabriel Park on the San Gabriel River where activities include a parade, live entertainment, arts and crafts booths, kid’s games, a petting zoo and a spectacular fireworks finale.

 

Cedar Park 4th of July Celebration and Parade

Admission free. Fee for some activities.

Join the citizens of Cedar Park for a parade, free watermelon, fireworks, live music and assorted yard games. The parade begins at 10 a.m. Festivities begin at 4 p.m.

 

Lago Vista Fireworks Show

Dress in ‘80s finery and head to the shores of Lake Travis for Slip and Slide Baseball, train rides for kids, cotton candy, ice cream, food trucks and a dunk tank. The fireworks show begins at dusk. Bring blankets and lawn chairs.

 

City of Round Rock’s July Fourth Frontier Days Celebration

Celebrate America on the frontier with the 9 a.m. Sertoma July 4th Parade followed by the Frontier Days Celebration from noon-9:30 p.m. Festivities include the Austin Symphonic Band, carnival rides, jalapeño pepper-eating contest, Swifty Swine Pig Races, children’s games and a Sam Bass Shootout. Fireworks will start at dusk followed by a showing of the movie Captain Marvel.
