Ready to “wine’d” down? Purchase a Texas Wine Month passport and you’ll be sipping fantastic Hill Country vintages throughout the month of October.

From October 1-31, wine lovers will have opportunities to enjoy complimentary wine tastings at 45 gorgeous wineries in picturesque locations near Dripping Springs, Fredericksburg, Johnson City, Spicewood, New Braunfels and more. Bryson residents can make their first stop Bent Oak Winery, which is located near the community. There is a limit of four wineries per day. A 15 percent discount on purchases of three or more bottles of wine is available at participating wineries.

Not only that, purchasing a passport allows you to give back with $5 of every ticket sold donated to the Texas Hill Country Wine Industry Scholarship Fund. The scholarship is given to students working toward degrees in viticulture, enology and hospitality. More than $49,000 has been awarded to more than 30 Texas students.

Passports are $85 per person and $120 per couple. As the average tasting room charges $15 per tasting, the passport ends up being a $750 value. You will cover the cost of your passport just by visiting five wineries. Since you have all month, that’s a very easy thing to do.

Don’t miss out on the opportunity to satisfy your taste for reds, whites and roses. Purchase your passport today. Be sure to drink responsibly.
