Sunny weather, adorable animals, live music and memory-making activities converged for Bryson’s biggest resident event of the year — so far.

The recent Rodeo Bryson delivered fun for all ages. Our littlest wranglers were able to ride a pony and rope a hay steer. Everyone enjoyed petting bunnies and ducklings, as well as feeding the chickens and goats.

And what would a day at the rodeo be without food worthy of a state fair? We wrestled up fried Oreos and funnel cakes for all those who wanted to indulge in a sweet treat.

A caricaturist was on hand for those who cherished a keepsake of the day and a final touch of perfection was a performance by country band The Rewinders.

Rodeo Bryson isn’t the only recent event. There’s something going on every week in Bryson, from monthly salutes to our military members to Wine and Whiskey Wednesdays and the Wild Explorers Club. More than a dozen events are hosted each month in Bryson, which means fun is always on the calendar.
