It’s another big honor for Bryson — winning “Best Overall Community 300 to 599 Acres” during the 2020 Texas Association of Builder’s Texas Star Awards on July 23.
The honor comes just four months after the Austin Business Journal named Bryson “Master-Planned Community of the Year” in its annual Residential Real Estate Awards. Bryson developer Johnson Development won the Texas Star Awards Grand Award for Developer of the Year.
In the awards entry, Bryson’s efforts to maintain the community’s natural landscape were highlighted, including tree preservation, laying parks to capture maximum views and switching the location of the amenity center when it was determined that building at the original spot would damage the topography. Also noted were Bryson’s varied streetscape of Farmhouse, Craftsman and Traditional-style architecture. Points were also given for Bryson’s varied master plan, which includes space for an elementary school and a commercial center.
The Texas Star Awards is the only prestigious statewide tribute to excellence in the homebuilding industry, honoring leading developers, builders, remodelers, architects, designers, sales professionals, marketing professionals and construction professionals across Texas and surrounding areas.
Master-Planned Community of the Year for Austin and Best Overall Community for Texas — it’s no wonder so many people are choosing Bryson to call home!
