Kiddos might be heading off to camp for spring break, but it’s not too early to think about what they might enjoy this summer. Most summer camps fill up quickly, and you don’t want you children to miss out on their favorite activities. Here’s a list of interesting camps in the Leander area you should register for now!

Arts and Crafts

Camp Curiosity

9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday beginning June 12
Ages 7-12
$350 per session
Children learn about the world around them through art and science projects at this full-day camp. Campers should wear clothes to paint in and bring a sack lunch and water bottle.

Sports and Movement

Amazing Athletes

9-11 a.m. Monday- Thursday, June 12-15 & July 10-13
Ages 4-6
$140 per session
Young children are introduced to the concepts of patience, teamwork and self confidence in a non-competitive environment that keeps them healthy and fit.

Kamp Kinderdance

9:30-11:30 a.m. Monday-Friday, beginning June 5
Ages 3 and a half through 7 years
$110 per session
Movement and fun for everyone will be accompanied by story time and crafts. Children will learn dance and tumbling from an experienced instructor.

Tiger-Rock Martial Arts Camp

7 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Friday beginning May 30
Ages vary
$45 per day, $250 per week
This camp is the perfect opportunity for kids to learn or increase their knowledge of the martial arts. Camps include three field trips per week and a pizza party every Friday. Topics range from bully defense to strength training.

Nerdy Cooks

9 a.m.-noon & 1-4 p.m. Monday-Friday beginning June 5
Ages 11-14

Kids can play with their food all summer long at the Leander Activity Center test kitchen. Sessions explore candy-making, baking in a solar oven, YouTube recipes, ice cream-making and more. Kids also learn the science behind creating their favorite foods.

Sticky Fingers Cooking Camps
