June and July were exciting months for Bryson. Our community took home several awards from two prestigious organizations — the Texas Association of Builders (TAB) and the Home Builders Association of Greater Austin.
Bryson received three Texas Star Awards from the Texas Association of Builders. We took the prizes for Best Sales Brochure for the Farmhouse Journal, Best Special Promotion for last year's Summertime Triple Scoop and Best Special Event for the Furever Home Tour.
The Farmhouse Journal is the magazine-quality brochure our builders hand out to prospective Bryson residents. It’s packed with information about our builders, amenities, schools, lifestyle and HOA information, but we went a step further and added a few extras such as hometown facts, hiking tips and information about the flora and fauna you can find in our community. You can also download the brochure online.
Our Summertime Triple Scoop promotion asked prospective buyers to name their flavor (incentive) when they purchased a new home in Bryson. Choices included no HOA dues for one year, $500 toward moving costs or $500 toward new furniture. No HOA dues were chosen by every home buyer during the promotion period. If you think about it, it was a win for everyone.
One of our favorite events of the year, the Furever Home Tour invited buyers to go online to tour our model homes, see available homes and contact builder associates. Our website featured shelter pets, as well, and we pledged to match any donations made to the shelter up to $3,500. To encourage pet adoptions, we covered the adoption fees of the featured pets during the promotion. We were able to donate the full amount as well as help shelter pets find “furever” homes.
Our Farmhouse Journal also won a MAX award for Best Sales Brochure from the Home Builders Association of Greater Austin. The Summertime Triple Scoop won its second award in the MAX Awards, as well, for Best Special Promotion. Our third MAX Award this year was for the Truckin’ Thru Bryson Tour, a fall-themed event that allowed visitors to enjoy fun activities while remaining socially distant.
We would like to congratulate our outstanding Bryson team for their work on these projects. Their creativity is just one of the many reasons Bryson is a fantastic place to live.
